Sharon Andres
Sharon is a trainee solicitor in the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution team. She graduated from Singapore Management University in 2020. She will be called to the Singapore Bar in July 2021.
Sharon has had her sight on litigation practice even while in law school; she had competed in moots, both international and domestic, with a particular focus on insolvency and restructuring and tort. By competing in these moots, Sharon has trained herself to be astute with an eye for detail. Importantly, Sharon’s advocacy skills had been honed and sharpened equipping her with the necessary attributes to complete her vigorous training at RBN Chambers.
Sharon plays an active role in all matters that she is assigned. She is exposed to various aspects of legal work including client care, file management and the business aspect of the legal practice. Sharon is looking forward to carving a career in litigation with the dynamic yet nurturing working environment at RBN Chambers as the stepping stone.
Hoping to use her legal education for good, Sharon plans to continue giving back to the society. After serving at the Community Justice Centre at the State Courts and the SMU Pro Bono Centre as a legal student, she hopes to get involved in pro bono legal clinics after being called to the bar.
Sharon is bilingual in English and Chinese.
